Pole Sheds

Affordable open and enclosed storage structures

Simple, Open Storage Built to Last

Not every project needs a fully enclosed building. CNO Pole Barns builds pole sheds, open-sided or partially enclosed structures that protect hay, equipment, and vehicles from Michigan weather without the cost of a full barn. We use the same posts, trusses, and steel roofing on a pole shed as we do on our larger buildings, just in a smaller, simpler design.

Open, Partially Enclosed, or Fully Enclosed

You can leave a pole shed fully open for easy drive-through access, add a back wall for wind protection, or close it in further with sliding doors for added security. Because the design is modular, we build to the level of enclosure you actually need instead of a fixed template.

Built by a Local, Licensed Crew

CNO Pole Barns was established in 1970 and is run today by owner Zosim Serban and his own crew. We are licensed and insured, hold an A+ BBB rating, and provide free estimates across Oakland, Genesee, Lapeer, and Macomb counties. Build time depends on size and site conditions; we will walk you through a realistic schedule when we come out to look at your property. Call (248) 625-2334 to get started.

Common questions

What is the difference between a pole shed and a pole barn?

A pole shed is generally a simpler, more open structure. Sheds often have one or more open sides and are used primarily for storage and shelter rather than enclosed workspace. Pole barns are fully enclosed with doors, windows, and often finished interiors. Sheds typically cost less and go up faster.

Do I need a concrete floor for a pole shed?

Not necessarily. Many pole sheds are built on compacted gravel or even bare ground, depending on the intended use. If you plan to store heavy equipment or vehicles, a concrete apron or full slab may be worth the investment. We will help you decide based on your needs.

How much does a basic pole shed cost?

Costs vary based on size, number of enclosed sides, and site conditions. A basic open-sided pole shed is one of the most affordable structures we build. Contact us at (248) 625-2334 for a free estimate tailored to your specific project.
