Siding, Trim, and Finish Work

CNO Pole Barns installs and repairs siding, trim, soffit, and fascia for pole barns, garages, horse barns, and homes across Oakland, Genesee, Lapeer, and Macomb counties. Some calls are a full re-side after storm damage or years of weather; others are a single dented panel or a finish-carpentry job like new porch soffit. We take on both with the same crew and the same standard of work.

Repairs That Start Below the Surface

Damaged siding is often a symptom, not the whole problem. Rusted or loose panels can point to moisture getting behind the wall, and loose siding sometimes means the girts underneath are failing. When we come out for a siding repair, we check the wall system, posts, girts, and fasteners, not just the panel you called about, so the fix addresses the cause.

Finish Carpentry and Remodeling

Beyond siding panels, we handle trim, soffit, fascia, and finish-carpentry work, including projects like rebuilding a porch ceiling after a roof replacement. If a job touches the outside of a building or the finish details around it, it is very likely something we can take on.

Common questions

Can you match the siding color on my existing building?

In most cases, yes. We work with major metal panel manufacturers that offer a wide range of standard colors. If your existing siding has faded significantly, we can often find a close match or recommend re-siding a full wall for a more uniform look.

My pole barn posts are rotting at the base. Can you fix that?

Yes, post repair and replacement is one of our more common repair calls. Depending on the damage, we can sister new treated posts alongside the old ones or replace them outright. Catching it early usually keeps the job smaller and less expensive.

Do you only work on new buildings, or do you handle finish and remodeling work too?

Both. Beyond new construction, we handle finish carpentry such as trim, soffit, and fascia work, including projects like replacing a porch ceiling after a roof replacement. If it is part of a building's exterior or finish, we can likely help.
